Sanchit Malik did his schooling in Hisar, Haryana. His father was a scientist at Haryana agricultural university. His wife Sharayu Rane is a data science consultant at ZS associates which is a boutique consulting firm. His Elder brother Mohit works for Amazon Robotics in Seattle.

 

An interesting fact is that he is the only businessman in his family. Everyone has either worked in a company or for govt or has been in farming!

 

Sanchit graduated in 2013 from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. Sanchit cofounded Padhaaro – a travel-based startup at the age of 19.

 

Sanchit Malik was the co-founder of Townscript along with Sachin Sharma and was a do-it-yourself platform for event organizers. Townscript has served over 50,000 + event organizers, including Rubyconf India, Mood Indigo, Startup Leadership Program, Pune International Marathon, Rotary, TIE, and The Indian Networker.

 

In 2017 Townscript.com was bought over by BookMyShow and Sanchit took an exit.

It has customers like MamaEarth, Bookmyshow, and MindTickle as its clients.
