He is the winner of the ‘Young CEO of The Year 2019’ award by the American College of Dubai for his innovative approach to developing education and training solutions.  

Abhijit has served task force groups and education committees of CII, FICCI, and Mumbai University. 

Currently, he serves on UNICEF-Nexus of Good Foundation’s task force to promote social impact scalable practices in government and public-private partnership domains.

In his career spanning almost two decades, he has a proven track record of turning around’ start-ups and education institutions by making them not just profitable; but ‘impactful’!

He has worked in leadership capacities with leading Indian and foreign education multinationals – Ex Pearson, Ex IMS, Ex EuroKids, Ex Vibgyor Group before embarking on his ventures in consulting, skilling, and wellbeing entrepreneurship.

Some of Abhijit’s notable contributions in the field of education in India are: First professional to start a full-time Presidential Award Winner Sports Management degree program Launched a unique pre-school chain with international standards in rural Maharashtra Conceptualized and designed two national-level sports assessment tools for students and working professionals – ( thousands of students and professionals take it every year to prove their eligibility in sports careers)

Successfully repositioned international schools with an education model called EBEN.

Abhijit is currently Director and CEO of Wistec IT Learning Solutions India Pvt Ltd, a division of Wistec Training, Finland. At Wistec he is currently leading Wistec Assessments – a unique benchmarking of digital skills system that is now being implemented globally.
