With her remarkable journey from the bustling streets of Mumbai to the academic halls of some of India’s finest institutions, Misba has devoted her life to empowering coaches and practitioners. Her goal? To create a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling world through advanced coaching and therapeutic skills.
Born in Gujarat, Misba’s educational odyssey began with an undergraduate degree in Commerce, specializing in Accountancy and Auditing, from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai. Her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. She pursued a master’s degree from Punjab Technical University and also completed a postgraduate degree with the Unitedworld School of Business. In 2019, Misba’s passion for mental sciences culminated in a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
Misba’s professional journey is equally impressive. Before stepping into the realm of counselling and training, she worked with renowned companies like Domino’s Pizza and Khana Khazana, eventually leading the HR Department at XcellHost Cloud Services. Here, her standout achievement was accomplishing 100% recruitment with shift hiring, showcasing her exceptional skills in management, HR administration, and field operations.
Her transition to training and development was supported by a Diploma from the Indian Society of Training & Development. In 2018, with her husband’s support, Misba founded the ICHARS Support Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to creating a holistic mental health system.
Misba’s credentials in Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP are backed by certifications from the California Institute of India and training under Dr. Richard Mchugh SJ. She also boasts expertise in family constellation from the Auroville Foundation Kattida Kalai Trust and training in ‘Metaphors of Movement’ by Andrew T. Austin.
Beyond her professional accolades, Misba is a vivacious individual who loves social gatherings, savoring Indian and Continental cuisines, and exploring the outdoors. She served as the Club Secretary for the InnerWheel Club of Bombay Seacoast in 2020-21, leading outreach projects in local communities. Currently, Misba is engrossed in Bert Hellinger’s book ‘Heal your relationships’, reflecting her continuous pursuit of understanding the dynamics of human relationships.
